Students of Kakuyuni Boys’ High School in Malindi, Kilifi County, have benefited from two million shillings grant from President William Ruto.
According to Malindi MP Amina Mnyazi, each student has received sh. 7,000 in school fees from the President’s donation.
Mnyazi stated that decision on how to divide the grant followed a successful public participation forum involving the Kakuyuni community, Teachers Service Commission representatives, and local education officials.
“The sh. 2 million fund was generously donated by His Excellency the President during his last visit to Kakuyuni,” said Mnyazi.
The office of the Assistant County Commissioner (ACC) overseen the disbursement process to ensure fairness and transparency.
