Education Cabinet Secretary Julius Migos has assured the public that the government has implemented measures to ensure a smooth Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC) transition.
Migos stated that the government, in collaboration with the Teachers Service Commission (TSC), has successfully employed 229,000 CBC teachers to enhance the quality of education.
“We are doing everything possible to provide the best infrastructure, classrooms, and teachers. Additionally, we are establishing proper guidelines and amending some laws for the benefit of our learners,” he said.
The CS further noted that the government had introduced programs to bridge existing gaps in CBC and improve the curriculum.
Meanwhile, CS Ogamba reaffirmed the state’s readiness to transition Grade 9 learners, reassuring parents that CBC is effective and on track.
“As we continue improving the CBC curriculum, the government is committed to addressing existing challenges,” he stated.
