Francis Mutuku announces candidacy for NOC-K presidency

The Secretary General of the National Olympic Committee of Kenya (NOC-K) and Vice President of Tennis Kenya, Francis Mutuku, has officially declared his candidacy for the NOC-K presidency ahead of the upcoming elections.

In his bid for the top position, Mutuku has pledged to prioritize athletes’ welfare, expand Olympic representation, and establish a well-structured leadership within the organization.

He assured that his leadership would focus on delivering long-term benefits for athletes by implementing proper structures to help them succeed.

With the elections set for April 24, Mutuku emphasized that his impact would be felt within the first 30 days if elected.

“Early preparation is key. If elected, within 30 days, you will feel the impact of my leadership through concrete steps towards Los Angeles 2028,” he stated.

Additionally, Mutuku has outlined financial stability as a core pillar of his campaign. His plans include boosting the Team Kenya brand, increasing sponsorship deals, and maximizing revenues through strategic partnerships.
