Mombasa Governor Abdullswamad Sheriff Nassir has said the projects and reforms implemented by his administration will be the basis upon which residents judge his leadership ahead of the 2027 General Election.
Speaking in Junda, the governor said his administration remains committed to improving the livelihoods of residents through investments in critical sectors and enhanced service delivery.
Nassir pointed to ongoing efforts to address land ownership challenges through collaboration with the national government, saying the issuance of title deeds is key to unlocking economic opportunities and promoting social stability.
He also highlighted investments made in the health and education sectors, describing them as priorities that will shape the county’s future development.
According to the governor, his administration’s focus has been on delivering meaningful projects and expanding opportunities for residents rather than engaging in early political campaigns.
“Our responsibility is to deliver. The record speaks through the projects we have implemented, the services we have improved, and the opportunities we continue to create for our residents,” said Nassir.
The governor expressed confidence that the progress made during his tenure will earn him the support of Mombasa residents as the country heads towards the 2027 polls.
