Children’s Homes across all the six sub-counties of Mombasa are set to receive Ramadan food rations courtesy of Amsons Group of Industries and Bamburi Cement PLC.
This is after the company donated bags of assorted food items to the county government destined for the underprivileged.
“We are grateful to the leadership of Mombasa County Government for agreeing to receive our donation of food rations for the benefit of the underprivileged during this holy month of Ramadan,” said Tawaqal Rajab Sumba, the Bamburi Cement PLC Commercial Director and Amsons Group Sales and Marketing Manager.
The 200 bags of food rations were officially handed over to the county on Monday when the senior leadership from Amsons Group of Industries and Bamburi Cement PLC paid a courtesy call to the Mombasa County Governor.
“This drive is not only in Mombasa but also Nairobi, Machakos, and other counties,” said Sumba.
