Kilifi County Governor Gideon Mung’aro has made executive realignments to enhance service delivery.
In his statement, Governor Mung’aro said the realignments are aimed at enhancing government efficiency, accountability, and boosting service delivery to the great people of Kilifi.
In the changes, the Chief Officer currently serving in the Department of Environment, Forestry, Climate Change, and Solid Waste Management, Zamzam Ali, will transition to head the Department of Cooperative Development.
The current Chief Officer for Cooperatives Development, CPA Jacinta Ismail, will take over responsibilities at the Department of Environment, Forestry, Climate Change, and Solid Waste Management.
“Both officers are expected to conduct a seamless handover process to ensure continuity in service delivery. His Excellency the Governor remains confident that both officers will continue to serve the great people of Kilifi with dedication, integrity, and renewed focus in their new capacities,” read part of the statement.
Mung’aro said the changes take effect immediately.
“These changes are in line with our ongoing efforts to strengthen accountability and performance across departments as we work towards a responsive and results-oriented county administration,” added Mung’aro.
