Relegation call for the saints

Southampton seem to be marching their way into the championship (the second tier of English football) after a rough season that has kept them at the bottom of the English premier league table.

It was a bad day for Ivan Juric side as they were welcomed with a huge defeat 4-0 at Stamford bridge on Tuesday night as their poor form continued.

They have only managed nine points this season having won only two games, beating Everton at home in November and Ipswich Town earlier this month. The saints have drawn in three and lost in 22 their matches.

The toothless saints seem to have a hard battle ahead as they wind up their season against league leaders, Liverpool in their 28th fixture of the league on 8th March at Anfield stadium.
