We need five quality players up front, says Gor Coach Sinisa Mihic

Gor Mahia head coach Sinisa Mihic has said that the team must do serious business in this transfer window to get quality players.

After his second back-to-back draw against Bidco United, the Croatian tactician slammed his attacking players for failing to score despite creating big chances.

Mihic also criticized his players who came from the bench but didn’t change the game. He said it was time to have players capable of playing for the Kenya Premier League giants.

“We need to refresh this team, if I’m the coach or another coach we need to replace some players who are not for Gor Mahia,” Said Mihic in a post-match interview.

Adding that he was not afraid of losing the job because of this decision the team must have players who are hungry to play for the team.

Gor Mahia were held in a 0-0 draw by Bidco failing to close the gap against league leaders Police FC who were smashed 1-0 by Mathare United on Thursday.

On Sunday the defending champions also failed to score in a 0-0 draw against Tusker FC at Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos County.

K’Ogalo remains third in the table with 36 points, five behind Police FC who are leading with 41 points after 22 games.
