21-time Football Kenya Federation-Premier League champions Gor Mahia have announced the signing of a new foreign coach, Sinisa Mihic from Croatia on a six-month contract.
The 48-year-old will be assisted by Zedekiah ‘Zico’ Otieno who was the interim coach following the departure of Brazilian tactician Leo Neiva in November last year.
K’Ogalo unveiled the new coach through their social media accounts on Monday 3rd Feb 2025.
Mihic who holds the UEFA Pro License has coached Kuwait’s Al Fahaheel (2014-2016), Al Shabab (2019-2020), and Croatia’s NK Crikvenica (January 2021-June 2021), and his last managerial job was in Kuwaiti Premier League where he worked as an assistant manager for 16 days only (February 12th-28th 2022) at Al Samiyah SC.
His huge task now with the defending champions who sit third on the log with 31 points, six behind leaders Kenya Police and second-placed Tusker FC is to fight again to retain the trophy for the third time in a row.
