KQ and Pride Inn partnership to enhance travel experience

National Carrier Kenya Airways has partnered with Pride Inn Hotels to boost tourism and travel in the country.

The partnership will see KQ customers who are members of the Asante Rewards loyalty program enjoy benefits beyond travel.

Speaking during the signing of the partnership at Pride Inn Paradise Hotel in Mombasa, KQ Chief Commercial and Customer Officer Julius Thairu said the partnership will create seamless travel experiences from flight bookings to accommodations.

“Recent market research shows 78% of travelers prioritize discounts and exclusive offers when making travel decisions,” noted Thairu.

“Through this collaboration, our joint patrons will receive exclusive privileges, including a 10% discount on all Kenya Airways flights worldwide, and attractive discounts on amenities at Pride Inn establishments. These benefits elevate the overall travel experience and nurture loyalty and satisfaction among our distinguished clientele,” he added.

The partnership by the two Kenyan brands will also see KQ Asante Reward members also enjoy benefits at any Pride Inn hotel according to their tier levels. The benefits will include preferential treatment and discounts.

“Some of the preferential treatment could be reserved tables, upgrades, and special exclusive dining at the beach,” said Pride Inn Hotels Group Managing Director Hasnain Noorani.

Noorani added that the partnership built on a foundation of shared values and mutual goals was more than just a business alliance but would also help sell the country.

“In our service industry, both as KQ and Pride Inn hotels, it is all about service delivery, delivering beyond expectations. We are looking at experiences and the only way of serving the best experience is having knowledge of what our clients want,” he said.

Meanwhile, KQ has introduced flights to Eldoret and increased the frequency of flights to JFK from seven to 10. Thairu also said the airline will have new and fresher entertainment content for its customers from the beginning of June.

“Any business that succeeds is the one that puts the customers first and understands the changing dynamic of the customers,” said KQ Chief Commercial and Customer Officer Julius Thairu.

Pride Inn on the other hand is seeking to increase its footprint in the country by opening hotels in 10 more counties.

“These are 10 counties we know Kenyans would love to travel to. They are unexplored charters and unexplored territories and we are trying to see how we can showcase Kenya’s beauty away from wildlife and the beach. Kenya is a destination that has everything under one roof,” said Pride Inn Hotels Group Managing Director Hasnain Noorani.
