Jubilee Party Secretary-General Raphael Tuju was on Wednesday morning rushed to Kijabe Hospital after he was involved in a road accident along the Nakuru – Nairobi highway.
Tuju was on his way to Kabarak for the burial of the late former president Daniel Toroitich Arap Moi when his vehicle rammed into a matatu at Magina area at around 6 am.
No fatalities have been reported following the accident.
Photos published by a local daily showed a badly damaged Toyota V8 Landcruiser vehicle that had been carrying the CS.
The SG is to be airlifted to Nairobi for further treatment.
