Kenya Defense Forces soldiers on Thursday killed four suspected Al Shabaab fighters and captured one in Lamu County.
This followed a morning bus attack by suspected Al Shabaab militia on the same day.

The bus which was travelling from Mombasa to Lamu was attacked at Nyongoro area along the Lamu- Garsen highway.
Coast Regional Coordinator John Elungata gave report of the operations hours after the attack.
Transport on the Lamu- Garsen road was suspended following the attack and security agents deployed to search for the assailants.
