Mohamed Salah has ended the season with a clean sweep of all major individual Premier League awards, including Player of the Month, Player of the Season, Top Scorer, and Top Playmaker of the Season.
The Egyptian star was on the scoresheet in Liverpool’s final game—a 1-1 draw against Crystal Palace—finishing the season as the league’s top scorer with 29 goals and top playmaker with 18 assists.
The Liverpool winger equaled the record for the most goal involvements in a single Premier League season, contributing to 47 goals. The previous record was held jointly by Andrew Cole and Alan Shearer during the era when the Premier League had 22 teams.
Salah, who recently signed a new two-year contract with the Reds, was also named Player of the Season and the Football Writers’ Player of the Year after a stellar campaign.
The 32-year-old winger played a crucial role in Liverpool’s Premier League triumph, scoring vital goals in high-stakes matches throughout the season.
Celebrating his second Premier League title, Salah described the experience as “incredible,” thanking fans for their unwavering support.
“It’s an incredible feeling to win it all this season. Thank you to the fans for your amazing support,” he said.
Meanwhile, Liverpool head coach Arne Slot revealed that he had faith in the team’s title chances early on. Speaking to reporters, Slot recalled believing they could go after a 3-0 win over Manchester United back in September.
“We played good teams, but Man United was extra special. We expected them to be in the top six, so beating them 3-0 at their stadium made me realize we could compete for the league,” said Slot.
