We want to make our own history, says Arsenal goalkeeper David Raya

Arsenal stopper David Raya has vowed to knock out Real Madrid in the Champions League and make a comeback in the tournament semifinals for the first time since 2009.

Speaking ahead of the big clash at Santiago Bernabeu, the Spanish goalkeeper said that despite leading 3-0 after the first leg, they want to double their win in the second leg.

“We want to play the way we played in the first leg, creating chances and trying to win the game,” said Raya in a press conference.

His sentiments were echoed by his Manager, Mikel Arteta, who said that as much as they respect Real Madrid, which has great talents like Mbappe, Vinicius Jr, and Jude Bellingham, they are not scared to face them at their home ground.

Arsenal faces the European giants tonight in the second leg of the Champions League quarter final with an advantage of three goals, having won the first clash at Emirates 3-0.

Elsewhere Bundesliga side Bayern Munich will look to turn around the first leg defeat at Allianz arena when they meet Inter Milan at San Siro.

All games start at 10 PM.
