President Ruto bashes critics of government projects

President William Ruto has bashed Kenyans who continue to oppose his government’s development projects across various sectors.

Speaking during an inspection tour of the Talanta Hela Stadium, President Ruto criticized those who oppose the Affordable Housing program, saying they fail to understand the importance of such initiatives to Kenyan citizens.

The President emphasized that these projects have created jobs for many young Kenyans.

“Impressed by the progress made in the construction of the world-class Talanta Sports City that will significantly elevate our country’s sporting profile. Walling on the 60,000-seater facility that has employed more than 3,300 youth has started with the equiping and finishes set to begin soon,” said Ruto.

He assured Kenyans that the government would continue implementing such programs despite opposition.

He stressed the importance of creating platforms where young people can showcase their abilities and develop their potential.

“I decided to build this new stadium here in Jamhuri because the youth must be given a chance to showcase their talents,” he said.

The President noted that it has been over 40 years since a stadium like Talanta Hela was last constructed in the country.

“With this pace of working, the Talanta Sports City will be ready for use by the end of this year,” said the head o state.
