Mo Salah to stay at Liverpool until 2027

Mohammed Salah has extended his contract with Liverpool for two more years.

The Egyptian forward has decided to commit his future at Anfield after being linked with the Saudi Pro League.

“We have a great team now. Before, we also had a great team, but I signed because I think we have a chance to win other trophies and enjoy my football,” Salah stated in the club’s website.

The 32-year-old has so far won everything with Liverpool since 2017 when he joined them from Serie A side AS Roma.

Salah is enjoying his best season with the league leaders so far having netted 27 goals and contributed another 17 in Premier League.

Liverpool is also expected to announce a new deal with their captain Virgil Van Dijk, who has agreed to sign another two years like Salah.
