Everton head coach David Moyes is proving to be the right man to turn things around at Goodison Park.

Since his appointment in January 2025, replacing Sean Dyche, Moyes has made remarkable progress, helping the Toffees fight relegation just in time to secure their place in next season’s Premier League campaign.

In his second stint with Everton, Moyes’ tactical decisions have started to pay off, benefiting several players. Among those thriving under his management is in-form striker Beto, who scored five goals in February, earning a nomination for the Premier League Player of the Month award.

Moyes himself has also been nominated for the Premier League Manager of the Month award, having led Everton on an impressive nine-game unbeaten run. During this streak, the team secured four wins and four draws, including a 2-2 tie against title contenders Liverpool and another against Manchester United—both played at Goodison Park.

Everton’s last defeat came against Aston Villa in Moyes’ first game in charge, where Villa narrowly escaped with a win.

Currently, Everton sits in 15th place on the Premier League table after a 1-1 draw against struggling Wolves. With 33 points, they are just one point behind Ruben Amorim’s Manchester United and Ange Postecoglou’s Tottenham Hotspur, who are tied at 34 points each.
