Kilifi county women representative, Getrude Mbeyu has called upon President William Ruto to help the residents of Kilifi get back their title deeds from alleged fraudsters.
Mbeyu said the issuance of title deeds has posed a challenge to the locals.
“I am appealing to you to look into two issues to address. First is the issue of land. We need our title deeds in Tezo and Mazrui back,” the vocal women rep said.
Mbeyu also asked the president to improve road infrastructure in Tezo ward
At the same time, Mbeyu called on the political elites to embrace unity saying the move will ensure a better and more prosperous future.
I want to ask political leaders to embrace unity. This will ensure that development is realized,” Mbeyu said.
She was speaking on Wednesday in Tezo ward, Kilifi North sub-county, during the laying of a foundation stone of government affordable housing project by President William Ruto.
