Telecommunication company Safaricom PLC is hosting its third Annual Investor Forum in Mombasa.
The two-day forum which kicked off on Thursday brought together regulatory bodies, analysts, and over 200 investors from eight countries – globally.
Themed “Becoming Africa’s Leading Purpose-Led Technology Company by 2030”, the forum seeks to update stakeholders on the company’s journey to become Africa’s leading purpose-led technology company by 2030.
It also seeks to allow investors to engage with the board and management on company performance and the future outlook.
The company also introduced the investment community to its five-year strategy, which underscores Safaricom’s commitment to harnessing the power of technology for social good, spurring various industries, and driving positive economic development.
