Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party leader Raila Odinga says he will accept the outcome of the African Union Commission Chairmanship elections this Saturday 15th of February 2025.
Speaking at the Bomas of Kenya in Nairobi during a prayer service organized by ODM Women, the AUC Chair candidate said he would come back home if he did not win the chairmanship.
“By God’s grace, I know I shall win. If we go through we shall be winners and if we lose we shall still be winners,” Raila told his supporters.
The ODM leader promised to work with other African leaders if he won the AUC seat.
“African countries facing similar problems. I will work with other African leaders to improve education, and health among other sectors,” said Raila.
He also condemned the ongoing killings and abductions in the country.
“There is no need for us to have police in the country if they say they do not know who is abducting young citizens and other Kenyans,” he added.
